Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rogelio Madeo got the match started through his kick off. Wouter De Keyser kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Gaspard in the 6th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Jasper De Raeijmaecker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Emilio Serafo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vélez Juniors's protests and gave Emilio Serafo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Emilio Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tran De Meyer in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Urtsin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Invictus FC's Jasper De Raeijmaecker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Invictus FC from getting a goal against them. Jasper De Raeijmaecker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Enrique Urtsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Worteleers in the 21st minute of the match. Richard Worteleers took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Urtsin. Enrique Urtsin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Madeo came free, but Jasper De Raeijmaecker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Ief Van den Berghe came free, but Enrique Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ief Van den Berghe fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Invictus FC's protests and gave Ief Van den Berghe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ief Van den Berghe hit a great ball. In the 41st match minute, Invictus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Worteleers to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Urtsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius De Leger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Invictus FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ief Van den Berghe to make the kick off. Jasper De Raeijmaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Pietro in the 55th minute of the match. Enrique Urtsin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ief Van den Berghe's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ief Van den Berghe put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Enrique Urtsin. In the 61st minute Ief Van den Berghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius De Leger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Urtsin having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Invictus FC's Julius De Leger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Urtsin. That made the score 0-3 after 66 minutes of play. Julius De Leger struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Enrique Urtsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Invictus FC. Ief Van den Berghe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Enrique Urtsin made a huge save. Jasper De Raeijmaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Pietro in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Ief Van den Berghe came free, but Enrique Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Invictus FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Invictus FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
