Maximiliano Cedro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Lertxun having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Psycho-Circus's Marciano Lertxun threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximiliano Cedro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot by Donato Fix from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Marciano Lertxun's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the Psycho-Circus defense, Romulo Guib kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Jakes. The Psycho-Circus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Jakes should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Cordarell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Humberto Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Lertxun having to interfere. Marciano Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Emiliano Jakes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto Tabor. Emiliano Jakes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Dimas in the 92nd minute.
