Hieronim Rekowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Nordin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Benedykt Markowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rega Merida CF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benedykt Markowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 26th match minute, Rega Merida CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedykt Markowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Herman Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Rekowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ola Lööf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boguslaw Wolniewicz in the 35th minute.
