The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Psycho-Circus's zone, Octav Ciocan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Jakes came out of the goal and Octav Ciocan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Prodan came free, but Emanuel Purcaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Psycho-Circus got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Cheche. Saul Paio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. Saul Paio kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Octav Ciocan struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Emiliano Jakes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED BLUE STAR. Emiliano Jakes came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by RED BLUE STAR's Mugur Hidiș. But to his dismay, Mugur Hidiș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Emiliano Jakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Pânzariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codruț Grozăvescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Emiliano Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mugur Hidiș to strike the kick off in the second half. Psycho-Circus's Luca Prodan got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Hidiș in the 57th minute of play forced Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Emiliano Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Emiliano Jakes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Octav Ciocan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RED BLUE STAR and the Psycho-Circus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes RED BLUE STAR got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Ciocârlan. When Luca Prodan fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Psycho-Circus's protests and gave Luca Prodan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Psycho-Circus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Prodan to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Emanuel Purcaru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 86th minute Mugur Hidiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Psycho-Circus's Octavio Marcones got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Mugur Hidiș made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Jakes. Psycho-Circus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Emiliano Jakes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
