A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Oséas Luz hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Karl-Oskar Albohm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adhemar Vergílio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Oséas Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Capibaribe Stars's Adhemar Vergílio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Capibaribe Stars from getting a goal against them. If Eliseu Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, Lars Linberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sivert Frykberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Antunes in the 41st minute of play. Fritz Haeger hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseu Toscano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Capibaribe Stars's Adhemar Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Rosin in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Albins Kamrater getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Arvid Linberg hit a great ball. Roger Rosin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adhemar Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Lucas de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars Linberg struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Adhemar Vergílio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albins Kamrater. Lucas de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Frykberg having to interfere. The supporters of Albins Kamrater booed when Capibaribe Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albins Kamrater's Sivert Frykberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Albins Kamrater from getting a goal against them. With 86 minutes on the clock, Arne Strömberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 87th match minute, Albins Kamrater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luiz Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sivert Frykberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Luiz Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Capibaribe Stars defense, Karl-Oskar Albohm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adhemar Vergílio. The Capibaribe Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adhemar Vergílio should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Albins Kamrater were the better team. Albins Kamrater's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
