The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Eate was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, RED BLUE STAR's Candido Haitz threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mugur Hidiș, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emanuel Purcaru came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Joel Rafe. But to his dismay, Joel Rafe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Ferdinand Pociu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Eate's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Purcaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded RED BLUE STAR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴.
