In the 12th minute Anton Nordin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Parisi Breton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes Vänge IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geancarlos Cedillo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Geancarlos Cedillo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jens-Ola Lööf quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Porteño Prowess FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alfonso Cuevas hit a great ball. Porteño Prowess FC's Parisi Breton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Hermansson in the 18th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Diego Artigue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Ahlquist couldn't finish the play. Parisi Breton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Barck in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Nordin came free, but Parisi Breton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zuberoa Armona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Nordin was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Parisi Breton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustav Ahlquist. Jens-Ola Lööf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuberoa Armona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zuberoa Armona hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Hermansson in the 56th minute of play forced Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Parisi Breton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Ahlquist to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Anton Nordin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Parisi Breton. Porteño Prowess FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Nordin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Vänge IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 70th minute, Vänge IF's August Molin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustav Ahlquist during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Gustav Ahlquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zoilo Melendes's late challenge caught a Vänge IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zoilo Melendes helped the player get up and apologised. Porteño Prowess FC's Parisi Breton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Porteño Prowess FC from getting a goal against them.
