Luca Prodan's late challenge caught a Internazionale-RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Prodan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Thiago Coutinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Jakes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9th minute, one of Psycho-Circus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Psycho-Circus. In the 13th minute, Thiago Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Pontes in the 19th minute of play forced Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Emiliano Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Calisto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Túlio Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Rodolfo Pontes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiliano Jakes. Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Samuca Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Jakes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Coutinho in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Psycho-Circus got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Cheche. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Calisto to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Luca Prodan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Psycho-Circus's Emiliano Jakes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Psycho-Circus from getting a goal against them. Dráuzio Saldanha hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes of play, Internazionale-RS's Dráuzio Saldanha made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Jakes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Washington Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Túlio Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Prodan in the 80th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Luca Prodan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Psycho-Circus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Emiliano Jakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Marcones struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Túlio Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Psycho-Circus. Teodoro Costa's late challenge caught a Psycho-Circus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Costa to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Jakes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráuzio Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Internazionale-RS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
