Ionuț Moșneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Seliga, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Bogumil Ludwiczak hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Zenon Mis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Moșneanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Soroka in the 29th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Ionuț Moșneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Rega Merida CF got a corner. RED BLUE STAR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radomil Drugi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 32 minutes, Miromir Seliga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rega Merida CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miromir Seliga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ionuț Moșneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Mis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when Rega Merida CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Mis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Rega Merida CF getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Miromir Seliga hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, RED BLUE STAR's Victor Răcănel got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Gilbert Witek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes of play, Rega Merida CF's Zenon Mis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionuț Moșneanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Benedykt Markowski replaced Walery Fleszar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klement Soroka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ionuț Moșneanu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Zenon Mis sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the game, Zenon Mis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ionuț Moșneanu. Zenon Mis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. RED BLUE STAR's Ionuț Moșneanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save RED BLUE STAR from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Soroka in the 98th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Ionuț Moșneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rega Merida CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
