The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Tor Njurenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Haitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ola Lööf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Eate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by August Molin. 12 minutes into the game, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Antonio Eate nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ola Lööf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 18 played minutes ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Itzaina. In the 26thth minute of the game Tor Njurenius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Candido Haitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Candido Haitz made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Walter Bark sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd match minute, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Rafe to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Nemesio Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Candido Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Njurenius in the 36th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jens-Ola Lööf acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 51st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gustavo Gaizkine. Candido Haitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Frykberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vänge IF's Niklas Mogren got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Gustav Ahlquist made a precise shot to the right of Candido Haitz. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 71st minute, Tor Njurenius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Haitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. A collision led to ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nemesio Abar hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Hilario Baladi got a free kick in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Walter Bark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vänge IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Bark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Haitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tim Frykberg charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Frykberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vänge IF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Tim Frykberg hit a great ball. Jens-Ola Lööf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Eate in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vänge IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
