In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valle Saron's goalkeeper Calvet Babia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Rey Villarragut put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gelu Galușcă. Rey Villarragut kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Rey Villarragut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Galușcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gelu Galușcă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rey Villarragut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes DINAMO PLOIESTI got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Pătran. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rey Villarragut in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gelu Galușcă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valle Saron's Calvet Babia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Valle Saron from getting a goal against them. Gelu Galușcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoilo Cordon in the 34th minute of play. When Ferdinand Pătran fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO PLOIESTI's protests and gave Ferdinand Pătran a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Matei Enătescu got a free kick in the 37th minute. Calvet Babia was a little too slow when Iacob Pârlea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-2. Sebastian Pană received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Calvet Babia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valeriu Goma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maties Alais in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gelu Galușcă, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 57th minute, Valeriu Goma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valle Saron's Rey Villarragut got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, DINAMO PLOIESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Rey Villarragut came free, but Gelu Galușcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes DINAMO PLOIESTI got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Pană. Joey Lugunez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gelu Galușcă. DINAMO PLOIESTI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Calvet Babia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Pană in the 78th minute of the match. After 82 minutes, Rey Villarragut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valle Saron and the DINAMO PLOIESTI players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Gelu Galușcă managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Valle Saron's Rey Villarragut fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 86 minutes into the game, Maties Alais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valle Saron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DINAMO PLOIESTI the free kick. Maties Alais who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Gelu Galușcă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gelu Galușcă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rey Villarragut's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 91st minute Rey Villarragut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Galușcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Pârlea struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Calvet Babia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DINAMO PLOIESTI.
