Ivo Vinhas started the match with the kick off. Amauri de Godoi was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Miguel Bertassi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Bertassi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bruno de Castro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Oscar Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Austra 04 VFC booed when Vila Industrial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Vinhas in the 30th minute of play. Fabiano Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Vinhas in the 32nd minute of the match. Austra 04 VFC's Wesley Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Luan Neto fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vila Industrial FC's protests and gave Luan Neto a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amauri de Godoi came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Austra 04 VFC's Pedrão Donato. But to his dismay, Pedrão Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Bertassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Bertassi in the 63rd minute of play forced Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper Amauri de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Austra 04 VFC's Miguel Bertassi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amauri de Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Industrial FC's zone, Pedrão Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri de Godoi came out of the goal and Pedrão Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Vinhas came free, but Fabiano Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Bertassi took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amauri de Godoi. Amauri de Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
