Gilmar Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fanis Kapernekas in the 4th minute of the match. Gilmar Paraíba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sokratis Symeonakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Gilmar Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sokratis Symeonakis's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. RO Army V55's Dimitris Stathakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Mota in the 13th minute of play. Dimitris Stathakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gerasimos Patsionidis charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerasimos Patsionidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerasimos Patsionidis kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Renos Stefanou took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilmar Paraíba. Gilmar Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Sokratis Symeonakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilmar Paraíba. Sokratis Symeonakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Daniil Zavantias's late challenge caught a Inter de São Paulo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniil Zavantias helped the player get up and apologised. Daniil Zavantias kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Inter de São Paulo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Sokratis Symeonakis scored to the left of an out of position Gilmar Paraíba, making the score, 4-0. In the 34th minute, Fanis Kapernekas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilmar Paraíba. The goal made the score 5-0. Gerasimos Patsionidis struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gilmar Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RO Army V55. Iosif Pantelatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fanis Kapernekas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Paraíba having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sokratis Symeonakis in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar Paraíba saved Inter de São Paulo from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sokratis Symeonakis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Sokratis Symeonakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, RO Army V55's Sokratis Symeonakis made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilmar Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilmar Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sokratis Symeonakis in the 56th minute of play. If Gerasimos Patsionidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vassilis Stergioudas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Paraíba having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Sokratis Symeonakis came free, but Gilmar Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Stathakos was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Isaltino de Andrade capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isaltino de Andrade really showed his touch with that goal: 6-1. Gilmar Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fanis Kapernekas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Fanis Kapernekas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Gilmar Paraíba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute Renos Stefanou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Renos Stefanou made a precise shot to the right of Gilmar Paraíba. Inter de São Paulo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. 86 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Renos Stefanou came free, but Gilmar Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Gilmar Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Pantelatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Adhemar de Azevedo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Vassilis Stergioudas fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RO Army V55's protests and gave Vassilis Stergioudas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Vassilis Stergioudas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the RO Army V55 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
