The Garphyttan fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Garphyttan's Olof Dalberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Garphyttan's Börje Näver got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Norbert Komanski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Fribäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Osowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Garphyttan's Brian Fribäck got control of the ball when Tomasz Osowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Brian Fribäck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Glany proboszcza booed when Garphyttan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Björnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Birger Mattsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Maruda skillfully saved the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Buczak came free, but Brian Fribäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

With 65 minutes on the clock, Bartlomiej Prosowski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Glany proboszcza! 71 minutes in the game, Börje Näver fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leon Maruda having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Börje Näver recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leon Maruda. In the 81st minute, Andrzej Modrzewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Glany proboszcza's zone, Olof Dalberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Maruda came out of the goal and Olof Dalberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olof Björnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olof Björnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brian Fribäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Osowski in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Börje Näver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garphyttan's supporters rose to their feet, but Börje Näver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Maruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
