The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Ziemowit Bryk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sosnowe Klimaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Bryk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Witold Okropny charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witold Okropny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute Hieronim Trela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Herensuge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes, Joaquin Kemen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate ® 9-12 and the Sosnowe Klimaty players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to River Plate ® 9-12 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Joaquin Kemen hit a great ball. After 26 minutes of play, River Plate ® 9-12's Paulo Pezzella made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Grabski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, Isidro Galoer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to River Plate ® 9-12 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Florencio Lehen hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Borja Colidio in the 51st minute of play forced Sosnowe Klimaty's goalkeeper Janusz Grabski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sosnowe Klimaty getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kryspin Maziarski hit a great ball. Paulo Pezzella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janusz Grabski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Joaquin Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Grabski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huey Acuña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ziemowit Bryk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janusz Grabski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borja Colidio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 68 minutes into the game, Hieronim Trela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Felix Herensuge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hieronim Trela took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Herensuge. Felix Herensuge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Janusz Grabski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Pezzella in the 81st minute. After 91 played minutes River Plate ® 9-12 got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Dominguez. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sosnowe Klimaty had won after a very even match.
