Felix Herensuge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Guipuzkoa in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 minutes, Leo Weather mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DREAM TEAM WORLD and the River Plate ® 9-12 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of River Plate ® 9-12 booed when DREAM TEAM WORLD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Nicasio Guipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Herensuge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Nicasio Guipuzkoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Nicasio Guipuzkoa sped through River Plate ® 9-12's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felix Herensuge. Nemesio Frisco made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Edgardo Vigil. If Nicasio Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Pezzella to make the kick off. Paulo Pezzella charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Pezzella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes River Plate ® 9-12 got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Pezzella. Nicasio Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Herensuge having to interfere. Nemesio Frisco hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 0-3 became the score in the 58th minute when Nicasio Guipuzkoa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leo Weather received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felix Herensuge came out and tried to block the shot, but Leo Weather slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 61st minute. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Severo Chano replaced Nicasio Guipuzkoa. In the 67th minute Teo Quirze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Herensuge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Jeronimo Abarca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Jeronimo Abarca got a free kick in the 77th minute. Severo Chano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Felix Herensuge firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 89 minutes, Gaston Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Jakue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Herensuge was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaston Jakue showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. A collision led to DREAM TEAM WORLD getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gaston Jakue hit a great ball. The DREAM TEAM WORLD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
