The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariusz Lewandowski couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Odważni got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Iwanowski. After 15 minutes of play, Kania Gostyń's Wasyl Nikodemski made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Sebzda was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute Bartosz Czerwinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Sebzda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wojciech Sokolski hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Stanislaw Brodzki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Stanislaw Brodzki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmund Chrobak. Kania Gostyń's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stanislaw Brodzki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Edmund Chrobak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Brodzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Odważni's Mariusz Kaczeniak got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Odważni's Stefan Sebzda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Odważni from getting a goal against them. Wasyl Nikodemski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Sebzda made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Wasyl Nikodemski sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Borys Rydzewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Stanislaw Brodzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Chrobak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kania Gostyń's Edmund Chrobak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Kania Gostyń from getting a goal against them. After 57 minutes, Radowit Wejta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kania Gostyń and the Odważni players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Odważni booed when Kania Gostyń was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Wejta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Odważni got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Lewandowski. Milosz Kon lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Kania Gostyń:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Odważni:s goal. Edmund Chrobak had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Aureliusz Wojtyna's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Emil Moizuk charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Moizuk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Odważni booed when Kania Gostyń was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Moizuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kania Gostyń's Wladyslaw Osikowicz was substituted for Wasyl Nikodemski. In the 85th minute, Wladyslaw Osikowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
