Colo-Colo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZigZag Athletic the free kick. Victoriano Rebolledo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Ulf Böcklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZigZag Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Böcklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Aleberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Daníel Moron when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Hans Odén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Daníel Moron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Miroslav Klose came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the ZigZag Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Klose couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the game, Colo-Colo's Norberto Portillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Algot Påk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Vilhelm Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of ZigZag Athletic booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrés Warnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Ulf Böcklund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daníel Moron showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Matteo Escuti struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Algot Påk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colo-Colo. In the 28th minute, Stefan Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Matteo Escuti came free, but Algot Påk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Arnau Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Algot Påk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Tommy Aleberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZigZag Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Aleberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jonas Falck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daníel Moron was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Ulf Böcklund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ulf Böcklund really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When Jonas Falck fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZigZag Athletic's protests and gave Jonas Falck a yellow card for diving instead. Daníel Moron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Aleberg in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Matteo Escuti made the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Rebolledo was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Victoriano Rebolledo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Ulf Böcklund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daníel Moron skillfully saved the ball. 54 minutes in the game, Miroslav Klose dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tommy Aleberg hit a great ball. Miroslav Klose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daníel Moron having to interfere. If Tommy Aleberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Stefan Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colo-Colo's Arnau Ramos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ZigZag Athletic. 86 minutes into the match, Tommy Aleberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daníel Moron. Colo-Colo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Aleberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ZigZag Athletic had played much better football throughout.
