Kerry Barajas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Recolta Alamor's Kerry Barajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Brăiloiu in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Eldon Mills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Mardarie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucian Voinescu lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigore Mardarie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Freddie Downs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
