Barnaba Tscherner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 33 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Lauren came free, but Barnaba Tscherner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Florida Gulf Coast booed when KN ZGORZELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Matias Eli came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Florida Gulf Coast fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Eli couldn't finish the play. Barnaba Tscherner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Lauren in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Matias Eli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florida Gulf Coast's Maximino Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wieslaw Bartochowski in the 86th minute of play. Fabio Jerico kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Kryspin Rzeszutek sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Florida Gulf Coast's Maximino Afonso didn't even have to move. KN ZGORZELEC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
