After a rather tough play, Sportivo Constitución's Benigno Chano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Anselmo Troiani made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Siro Argenis sent off a good shot on target. Attilio Casiraghi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Raymon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Anselmo Troiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Chumo in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute Alonzo Chumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Troiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Telo in the 19th minute of play forced ASD Real Molinella 1911's goalkeeper Anselmo Troiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Troiani was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Siro Argenis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Siro Argenis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Felice Di Cristofaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Haroldo Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Flavio Chizzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Telo took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Troiani. Anselmo Troiani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Attilio Casiraghi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Sportivo Constitución's Anselmo Troiani threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alonzo Chumo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Di Cristofaro in the 33rd minute of play forced Sportivo Constitución's goalkeeper Haroldo Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes, Leon Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Constitución and the ASD Real Molinella 1911 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Leon Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Troiani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Chumo's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Argenis got free with Anselmo Troiani in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Beppe Vianello struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Haroldo Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASD Real Molinella 1911. 54 minutes into the match, Sportivo Constitución's Alonzo Chumo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Troiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 57 minutes, Alonzo Chumo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Constitución's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Chumo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Attilio Casiraghi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Alonzo Chumo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Abad hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Sportivo Constitución made a substitution. Eloy Igon replaced Romeo Telo. Herminio Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Anselmo Troiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Chumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Alonzo Chumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Troiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felice Di Cristofaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sportivo Constitución's Osvaldo Ponc was substituted for Benigno Chano. During the 76th minute of the match Flavio Chizzo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Flavio Chizzo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Constitución's Patricio Raymond got a free kick in the 80th minute. The referee gave ASD Real Molinella 1911 a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Felice Di Cristofaro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sportivo Constitución's Haroldo Raymon. 3-2. A collision led to Sportivo Constitución getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Herminio Abad hit a great ball. Sportivo Constitución's Eloy Igon got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of ASD Real Molinella 1911 booed when Sportivo Constitución was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Argenis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppe Vianello struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Haroldo Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASD Real Molinella 1911. ASD Real Molinella 1911's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
