Spectators: 7706 (Terracing: 5781, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Alonzo Chumo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luisinho Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Siro Argenis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Esteban Jacob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Fernandez in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Sportivo Constitución getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rosendo Napier hit a great ball. Haroldo Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Fernandez in the 16th minute of the match. Thiago Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Telo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Edmundo Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's Luisinho Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Raymon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Deivid Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio Prudente's supporters rose to their feet, but Deivid Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Raymon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luisinho Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Constitución's zone, Deivid Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Raymon came out of the goal and Deivid Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siro Argenis in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisinho Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Thiago Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Raymond. Haroldo Raymon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisinho Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If Siro Argenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 55 played minutes Sportivo Constitución got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Abad. 56 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's Hélder Tinoco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Haroldo Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Fernandez in the 58th minute of the match. Siro Argenis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Thiago Couto made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Deivid Prestes made a precise shot to the right of Haroldo Raymon. Sportivo Constitución's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Luisinho Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Haroldo Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio Prudente. Sportivo Constitución's Osvaldo Ponc was substituted for Benigno Chano. After 73 played minutes Sportivo Constitución got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Jacob. 77 minutes into the match, Sportivo Constitución's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Ramos came free, but Haroldo Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Chumo's late challenge caught a Grêmio Prudente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonzo Chumo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Sportivo Constitución was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Chumo to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Luisinho Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Constitución's Leon Barbosa got a free kick in the 89th minute. Siro Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Thiago Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Chumo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Couto saved Grêmio Prudente from getting behind. Grêmio Prudente's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
