The Until Five fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerônimo Araújo should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Eliseo Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Gallardeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Illan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerônimo Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eliseo Illan came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the La Gallardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Illan couldn't finish the play. Donato Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Until Five's Clóvis Fonseca broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 40th minute, Eliseo Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clóvis Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Illan to make the kick off. La Gallardeta's Eliseo Illan got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 minutes, Jerônimo Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Until Five and the La Gallardeta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81st play minutes Eliseo Illan shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Jerônimo Araújo and just under the crossbar into goal. After 84 minutes, Eliseo Illan made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Until Five's Jerônimo Araújo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Eron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Gallardeta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Until Five the free kick. Jerônimo Paraibano lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Until Five was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Gallardeta's Sebastian Edur got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The La Gallardeta players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
