Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alonzo Chumo started the match with the kick off. Until Five's Jerônimo Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Chumo in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Fonseca in the 9th minute of play forced Sportivo Constitución's goalkeeper Haroldo Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Raymon had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Régis Baptista's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jerônimo Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Haroldo Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerônimo Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 18 minutes, Patricio Raymond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Constitución and the Until Five players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Patricio Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerônimo Araújo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Constitución's Romeo Telo. But to his dismay, Romeo Telo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Until Five booed when Sportivo Constitución was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Until Five's Régis Baptista shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Haroldo Raymon but with some difficulty. If Elivélton Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldinho Machado in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Raymon saved Sportivo Constitución from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elivélton Matorin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato de Senna in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Raymon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Until Five booed when Sportivo Constitución was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Constitución made a substitution. Siro Argenis replaced Romeo Telo. Leon Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Patricio Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Paulo Renato de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Argenis got free with Jerônimo Araújo in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Errando during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Haroldo Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
