An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilfred Bornkessel in the 4th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Dadá Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Aleksander Thalbitzer got control of the ball when Doni Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match, Geovanni Marquez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aleksander Thalbitzer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Granadero10 were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Holmkjar Hotspurs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Acácio Cardozo took the corner. The corner ended in Geovanni Marquez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Holmkjar Hotspurs's Aleksander Thalbitzer did a great save. Pedro Paulo Paulista hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ernani Palmeira struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Aleksander Thalbitzer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granadero10. Aleksander Thalbitzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Koehler in the 21st minute of play. After 21 played minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Walther Heltbroe. Aleksander Thalbitzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Siqueira in the 25th minute of play. Olfert Lodian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dadá Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediberto Teixeira hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Halfdan Wøldike shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dadá Favoretto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Holmkjar Hotspurs reached it. In the 36th match minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helmuth Mannsmeier to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Aleksander Thalbitzer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 41 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Cearense. A collision led to Holmkjar Hotspurs getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ted Hurupp hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Acácio Cardozo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aleksander Thalbitzer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olfert Lodian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kauan Siqueira during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Siqueira. Dadá Favoretto was a little too slow when Olfert Lodian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-1. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Jimi Okley was substituted for Vilfred Bornkessel. When Geovanni Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granadero10's protests and gave Geovanni Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Granadero10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Renato Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Renato Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Holmkjar Hotspurs getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. After 93 minutes of play Granadero10's Paulo Renato Cearense was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 94th minute, Paulo Renato Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Holmkjar Hotspurs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Holmkjar Hotspurs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
