After 4 played minutes Stellenbosch got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Garcia. Peyo Dumanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Cheche made a huge save. Stellenbosch's Teobaldo Cheche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Stellenbosch from getting a goal against them. After 7 played minutes Stellenbosch got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Garcia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benislav Shaprin during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benislav Shaprin kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Stellenbosch's Teobaldo Cheche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brunko Serdev in the 13th minute of play. Dimo Igov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Teobaldo Cheche was a little too slow when Brunko Serdev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 20 played minutes Stellenbosch got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Playo. Teobaldo Cheche was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Brunko Serdev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brunko Serdev really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Cosme Lucian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimo Igov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes SvE United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerardo Costante who took care of the corner kick. Dimo Igov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimo Igov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Costante, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Dalmacio Jacindo took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimo Igov. Dimo Igov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dimo Igov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brunko Serdev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Cheche having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmacio Jacindo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Garcia got free with Dimo Igov in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimo Igov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Jacindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 64th minute Peyo Dumanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Silverio Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stellenbosch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SvE United the free kick. A collision led to Stellenbosch getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Silverio Garcia hit a great ball. Dimo Igov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Abella in the 75th minute. After 75 minutes, Radko Mitziev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SvE United and the Stellenbosch players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SvE United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Radko Mitziev hit a great ball. SvE United's Dimo Igov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Abella in the 76th minute of play. Brunko Serdev hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Nardo in the 83rd minute of play forced SvE United's goalkeeper Dimo Igov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SvE United's Dimo Igov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save SvE United from getting a goal against them. Ladislao Abella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Dimo Igov made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in SvE United's zone, Silverio Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimo Igov came out of the goal and Silverio Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimo Igov was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marco Turi.
