Aleksander Thalbitzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Necati Başok, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pablo Heitmann during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Sarı kaya FK's Yaser Memduh got control of the ball when Halfdan Wøldike tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Yaser Memduh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halfdan Wøldike. Yaser Memduh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olfert Lodian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Mert Başarman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Halfdan Wøldike recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Sarı kaya FK's Edip Demirtekin got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halfdan Wøldike in the 41st minute of play forced Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Yaser Memduh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Holmkjar Hotspurs defense, Mert Başarman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksander Thalbitzer. The Holmkjar Hotspurs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksander Thalbitzer should have stopped the shot. The Holmkjar Hotspurs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sarı kaya FK were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Necati Başok stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Necati Başok's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Aleksander Thalbitzer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 72 minutes into the game, Sarı kaya FK's Arkın Mutlutekin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aleksander Thalbitzer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Mustafa Necati Başoks short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Aleksander Thalbitzer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 78 minutes into the match, Halfdan Wøldike had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yaser Memduh. Sarı kaya FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Halfdan Wøldike was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olfert Lodian in the 82nd minute of play forced Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Yaser Memduh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
