In the 11th minute, Romeo Berdaitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddie Bergström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Braulio Ourente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddie Bergström. Hawk Tuah FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Ourente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 18th minute, Simon Criston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddie Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Berdaitz in the 20th minute of play. When Sarmiento de Resistencia's Siro Elazar in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
