Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Opriș in the 44th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marioara Birligea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viriato Leal was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The corner led to -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Eliodor Birișu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marioara Birligea to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when -BZF- Petrolul Berca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Opriș didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Târban to maneuver through the defense. Nistor Arjoca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sálvio Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Damian Târban sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Viriato Leal threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Damian Târban this time. Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Opriș in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal got control of the ball when Mihai Opriș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Patrício from getting a goal against them. Nistor Arjoca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Madeira in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Eliodor Birișu could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Viriato Leal however easily saved by the left post. In the 83rd minute Adrian Almăgean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Sporting Clube Patrício's Egídio Trindade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nistor Arjoca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 93 minutes into the match, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Trindade came free, but Nistor Arjoca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sálvio Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nistor Arjoca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sporting Clube Patrício's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
