In the 10th minute, Sílvio Luís Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Mieszko Kornecki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Olavo Vasconcelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 played minutes White Star Troopers got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Czech. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikolaj Literski during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mieszko Kornecki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Olavo Vasconcelos made a huge save. In the 23rd match minute, Desportiva Paulo Afonso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor de Sena to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Desportiva Paulo Afonso got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Moraes.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renatinho Braga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Fernandinho Paes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jerzy Domeracki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Norbert Deput hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Renatinho Braga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind White Star Troopers's goalkeeper Jerzy Domeracki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Norbert Deput had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Vasconcelos. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norbert Deput was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 88th minute, Mieszko Kornecki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olavo Vasconcelos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. White Star Troopers had won after a very even match.
