Spectators: 7663 (Terracing: 5748, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Simão Pinheiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Samuca Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Figueira SC FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Portugália the free kick. Samuca Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CA Portugália's Leandro Luz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 11 minutes into the match, Simão Pinheiro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CA Portugália's Álvaro Zanette. Álvaro Zanette was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Álvaro Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexsandro Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Tadeu Alagoano's late challenge caught a CA Portugália's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeu Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. Tadeu Alagoano hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Fábio Arantes got a free kick in the 37th minute. Simão Pinheiro took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álvaro Zanette. Álvaro Zanette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 47 minutes into the game, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Simão Pinheiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Álvaro Zanette made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

Figueira SC FSCMZ's Alexsandro Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Prata in the 54th minute of play. Geovanni Pontes hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Joel Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Leandro Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Portugália and the Figueira SC FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CA Portugália getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Leandro Luz hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Sandrinho Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexsandro Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of Figueira SC FSCMZ booed when CA Portugália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Álvaro Zanette made a huge save. After some careless play in the Figueira SC FSCMZ defense, Christiano Alves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexsandro Carioca. The Figueira SC FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexsandro Carioca should have stopped the shot. Sidney Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Prata in the 86th minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Alexsandro Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Leandro Luz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Figueira SC FSCMZ's Alexsandro Carioca didn't even have to move. In the 93rd match minute, CA Portugália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The CA Portugália fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Figueira SC FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
