Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedrão Saldanha kicked off to start the match. An unexpected shot in the 2nd minute by Adhemar Sanches got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 4th minute of the match, Jorge Prata got a very nice opportunity to score, but Álvaro Zanette was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pedrão Saldanha scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauã Pitta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Álvaro Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's goalkeeper Álvaro Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Porto. Álvaro Zanette came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Bem Bolado's Cristóvão Saraiva. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Saraiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Daniel Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bem Bolado's zone, Christiano Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauã Pitta came out of the goal and Christiano Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, CA Portugália's Evandro Barros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Evandro Barros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CA Portugália protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Evandro Barros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 37 played minutes CA Portugália got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Barros. After the first half CA Portugália were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Daniel Siqueira struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Álvaro Zanette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bem Bolado. When Umberto Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Portugália's protests and gave Umberto Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bem Bolado booed when CA Portugália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Adilson de Queirós hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 86th match minute, CA Portugália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Freitas to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Adhemar Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Zanette. CA Portugália's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adhemar Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of Bem Bolado booed when CA Portugália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
