When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adhemar Sanches made a kick off. A collision led to Figueira SC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Waldemar Maranhense hit a great ball. If Fábio Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Arantes came free, but Cauã Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Simão Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Figueira SC FSCMZ's protests and gave Simão Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. Cauã Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Arantes in the 70th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Cauã Pitta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Gaúcho came free, but Cauã Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
