CD SHETTANI's Elton Tolaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Almkvist in the 16th minute of play. Elton Tolaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfrid Almkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, CD SHETTANI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Villalobos to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hawelka Himalayan High booed when CD SHETTANI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernie Sanabria didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Johansson in the 33rd minute of play forced CD SHETTANI's goalkeeper Elton Tolaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Keilor Volio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD SHETTANI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keilor Volio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Hawelka Himalayan High's Gottfrid Almkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elton Tolaba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Victor Villalobos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Gottfrid Almkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Elton Tolaba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gottfrid Almkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Elizondo in the 55th minute of play forced Hawelka Himalayan High's goalkeeper Leo Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Hawelka Himalayan High's goal looked a bit too open when Bernie Sanabria came free, but Leo Sjöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Felix Johansson fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hawelka Himalayan High's protests and gave Felix Johansson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hawelka Himalayan High getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Felix Johansson hit a great ball. With a little luck, CD SHETTANI's Elton Tolaba got control of the ball when Felix Johansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yossi Clavo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leo Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hawelka Himalayan High's Måns Rosen got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Leo Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yossi Clavo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jonny Elizondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD SHETTANI's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonny Elizondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Sjöberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Johansson got free with Elton Tolaba in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Jonny Elizondo made a precise shot to the right of Leo Sjöberg. Hawelka Himalayan High's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 90th minute, Hawelka Himalayan High's Alexander Magnusson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alexander Magnusson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hawelka Himalayan High protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alexander Magnusson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 89 minutes into the game, one of Hawelka Himalayan High:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 98 minutes into the match, Keilor Volio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Sjöberg. Hawelka Himalayan High's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keilor Volio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CD SHETTANI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hawelka Himalayan High had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
