Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hernani Lira started the match with the kick off. When Christian Donato fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mestre GG's protests and gave Christian Donato a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Christian Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Reima Ruuttu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enio Pinho. Mestre GG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reima Ruuttu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 12 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Reima Ruuttu. Reima Ruuttu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Severino Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilian Fonseca hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Manchester United FC's Saul Väänänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Quintal in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Hernani Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Väänänen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mestre GG's Enio Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taavetti Valkealahti in the 30th minute of play. Saul Väänänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Lira in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th minute Ylermi Glad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Väänänen came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mestre GG's Amadeu Pombal. But to his dismay, Amadeu Pombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Mestre GG's Rubens Pontes got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Leopoldo Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 51st minute of the match, Pekko Palo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enio Pinho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Pombal in the 55th minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Saul Väänänen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Väänänen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Enio Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taavetti Valkealahti in the 58th minute of play. When Severino Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mestre GG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Quintal couldn't finish the play. Vihtori Viljanen's late challenge caught a Mestre GG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vihtori Viljanen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Vihtori Viljanen hit a great ball. If Severino Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Pekko Palo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mestre GG the free kick. Enio Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pekko Palo in the 80th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teppo Helminen during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mestre GG booed when Manchester United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teppo Helminen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manchester United FC made a substitution. Rami Tallqvist replaced Teppo Helminen. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Teppo Helminen hit a great ball. The supporters of Manchester United FC booed when Mestre GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manchester United FC's Saul Väänänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Fonseca in the 90th minute of play. Manchester United FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
