The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Leocadio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Anselmo Paul hit a great ball. The long shot by Jarvis Locke in the 9th minute really tested Dalmacio Olivar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 13 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goalkeeper Dalmacio Olivar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lawrance Bower. RB Chubut's Dalmacio Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Moon in the 15th minute of play. Dalmacio Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrance Bower in the 16th minute of the match. RB Chubut's Freddy Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelius Lunt charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelius Lunt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when The Obscurials was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelius Lunt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Freddy Mambru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Albert Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. RB Chubut's Dalmacio Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Moon in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, RB Chubut's Carolo Barto got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarvis Locke got free with Dalmacio Olivar in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's Héctor Bracamonte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dalmacio Olivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Moon, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Edgardo Leocadio fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RB Chubut's protests and gave Edgardo Leocadio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RB Chubut's Edgardo Leocadio got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Rob Everett recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dalmacio Olivar. Rob Everett showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, Bradley Moon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Olivar. RB Chubut's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bradley Moon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 47th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Paul to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Mambru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Albert Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Luis Nazario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Fessey in the 58th minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Dalmacio Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Freddy Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot. RB Chubut's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Mambru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmacio Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Fessey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Héctor Bracamonte's late challenge caught a The Obscurials's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Héctor Bracamonte helped the player get up and apologised. Dalmacio Olivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Moon, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Dalmacio Olivar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lawrance Bower went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 83 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Mambru. Dalmacio Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Moon in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, The Obscurials's Ray Fessey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmacio Olivar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The Obscurials's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
