When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Gabrio made a kick off. The supporters of DON RAMON 72 booed when Independente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Videl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Gonçalves in the 59th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Valentin Gabrio took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nestor Quintal to make any attempt to save it. José Vítor Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Videl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Vítor Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Martins hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Patricio Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gilberto Gonçalves hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
