Tim Coates charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Coates the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 15 minutes into the game, one of El Canalla de Chicago:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Octav Glăvan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Rioşanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scott Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Morar having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Roosevelt Guthrie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Octav Glăvan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roosevelt Guthrie having to interfere.
