Nae Morar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okanay Zabit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Octav Glăvan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gökalp Koca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nae Morar. That made the score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hulki Bulut showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Octav Glăvan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hulki Bulut was relentless in the 40th minute of the game.

Gökalp Koca scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nae Morar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of BAŞBUĞ booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Rușanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Gökalp Koca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Morar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Radu Moldovan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
