The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Carney during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Carney to maneuver through the defense. After 5 minutes, Vince Potts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Canalla de Chicago and the Olgado™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Vince Potts. Vince Potts got his second yellow card in the match during the 6th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 7th minute, Vince Potts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Canalla de Chicago's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Shawn Reyna in the 17th minute. El Canalla de Chicago's Shawn Reyna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Claudinho Massa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Claudinho Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernie Rosales in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Kasey Frederick could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Claudinho Massa however easily saved by the left post. Roosevelt Guthrie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Nunes in the 29th minute of play. Scott Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Carney to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when Olgado™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zabulón Qährämanov took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roosevelt Guthrie. Roosevelt Guthrie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kent Carney scored 2-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho Massa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudinho Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

El Canalla de Chicago were furious when Kent Carney was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of El Canalla de Chicago:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olgado™:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Olgado™'s zone, Leo Finn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Massa came out of the goal and Leo Finn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roosevelt Guthrie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Goiano in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Goiano came free, but Roosevelt Guthrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, El Canalla de Chicago's Roosevelt Guthrie got control of the ball when Betinho Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Barreto hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, Olgado™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Shawn Reyna took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho Massa. Claudinho Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 77 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Frederick. Bernie Rosales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Claudinho Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olgado™'s Luisinho Velloso was substituted for Zabulón Qährämanov. In the 84th minute Bernie Rosales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joseph Marquez during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Marquez. In the 86th minute of the match Cauã Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roosevelt Guthrie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 89th play minutes Scott Souza shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Claudinho Massa and just under the crossbar into goal. After 94 played minutes Olgado™ got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Sousa. 96 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Nunes came free, but Roosevelt Guthrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Canalla de Chicago's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
