An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Beat in the 5th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DON RAMON 72 getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Tadeo Quinteros hit a great ball. Oscar Beckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Lizardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ladislao Videl was a little too slow when Stefan Mårtensson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Stefan Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Patricio Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Rolfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ladislao Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Kaxe. In the 37th match minute, DON RAMON 72 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Lizardi to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, DON RAMON 72's goalkeeper Ladislao Videl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Erik Brogren. Leonides Beat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Beckman to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Patricio Gipuzkoa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivar Rolfsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. AIK FOTBOLL's Ivar Rolfsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Ermano in the 55th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Nils-Erik Brogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Beat came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ivar Rolfsson could save by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Esteve Ermano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Rolfsson. AIK FOTBOLL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteve Ermano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Ivar Rolfsson was a little too slow when Benjamin Lizardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-4. Stefan Mårtensson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Patricio Gipuzkoa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivar Rolfsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Gipuzkoa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, DON RAMON 72's Esteve Ermano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivar Rolfsson. Ivar Rolfsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Ladislao Videl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Mårtensson in the 88th minute of play. If Rune Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, DON RAMON 72's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Erik Brogren came free, but Ladislao Videl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Ermano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The DON RAMON 72 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DON RAMON 72 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
