In the 3rd match minute, Oakham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alif Chian to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Iskandar Chian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Maggioros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes Pagos FC got a freekick which was hit by Tasos Staikos. 13 minutes into the match, Iskandar Laycock notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pagos FC's Avraam Maggioros. Avraam Maggioros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 23 minutes, Theofilos Stamatis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pagos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theofilos Stamatis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danish Henderson in the 24th minute of play forced Pagos FC's goalkeeper Avraam Maggioros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Oakham's Alexander Hsi got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Merlin Tian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 31 minutes of play, Oakham's Iskandar Laycock made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avraam Maggioros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Avraam Maggioros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danish Henderson in the 35th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Pagos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iskandar Laycock came free, but Avraam Maggioros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theofilos Stamatis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pagos FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Manolis Nikologiannis hit a great ball. Theofilos Stamatis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Avraam Maggioros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iskandar Chian, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tasos Staikos hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Pagos FC's Avraam Maggioros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danish Henderson in the 63rd minute of play. Iskandar Chian received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Avraam Maggioros came out and tried to block the shot, but Iskandar Chian slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 91st minute. Oakham's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
