Spectators: 7830 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The tension between the Ampthill FC and the Robíño Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ampthill FC booed when Robíño Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Vedholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ampthill FC's Andy Findley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Kjellkvist in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Andy Findley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Ove Lindkvist. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Bengt Berggren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Andy Findley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Vedholm in the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Ampthill FC's Andy Findley got control of the ball when Edvin Vedholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Gunnar Andberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Andy Findley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eddie Kjellkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Andy Findley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 48th minute Joel Gallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Findley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddie Kjellkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Robíño Football Club's goalkeeper Fredric Jansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Robíño Football Club's Edvin Vedholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andy Findley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 60 minutes into the match, Eddie Kjellkvist notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Ampthill FC's Andy Findley. Andy Findley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, Edvin Vedholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Findley. Ampthill FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edvin Vedholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Andy Findley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Berggren in the 70th minute of the match. Andy Findley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Kjellkvist in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Berggren came free, but Andy Findley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Findley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Kjellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st match minute, Ampthill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremy Coombe to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Lindkvist in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Findley prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
