Ildefonso Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ildefonso Ramos hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Nelson Vidal put in a rough tackle. In the 82nd match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Orixe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Primitivo Orixe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléber Queirós. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Primitivo Orixe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see San Lorenzo 11 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
