After some careless play in the Surahammar defense, Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Ambjörnsson. The Surahammar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Ambjörnsson should have stopped the shot. After 36 minutes, Rudolf Larsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surahammar and the San Lorenzo 11 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rudolf Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Gualterio Aragones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Aragones in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Ambjörnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Jon Stenquist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Primitivo Orixe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaac Viviano made a kick off. San Lorenzo 11's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jon Stenquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched San Lorenzo 11 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
