The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jarūnas Laužikas's late challenge caught a SK Dreigoten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarūnas Laužikas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd match minute, Hexo Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarūnas Laužikas to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Henri Van Houtvinc made a precise shot to the right of Anicetas Eidukonis. Hexo Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tautvydas Vaičiulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Nicolaas De Cat made a huge save. Anicetas Eidukonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loui De Wulf in the 14th minute of the match. Anicetas Eidukonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Van Houtvinc, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Loui De Wulf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anicetas Eidukonis having to make a save. 21 minutes into the game, Tautvydas Vaičiulis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nicolaas De Cat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gražvydas Dambys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tautvydas Vaičiulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nicolaas De Cat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolaas De Cat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algirdas Jurys in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Lionel Maenhout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolaas De Cat made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Tautvydas Vaičiulis sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Algirdas Jurys made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gražvydas Dambys in the 52nd minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Nicolaas De Cat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolaas De Cat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algirdas Jurys in the 63rd minute of play. Gražvydas Dambys hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Algirdas Jurys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Henri Van Houtvinc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richmond Van Doren kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Algirdas Jurys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolaas De Cat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algirdas Jurys in the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Tautvydas Vaičiulis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hexo Utd had won after a very even match.
