With a little luck, Stowe City's Dillon Yoder got control of the ball when Casper Göransson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viktor Wallin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Dillon Yoder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vykans Vikingar. Dillon Yoder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Wallman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Leon Hadley notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vykans Vikingar's Folke Örnberg. Folke Örnberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dillon Yoder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Wallman's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes of play, Stowe City's DeAngelo Guevara made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Örnberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lyle Dill kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Dillon Yoder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Wallman in the 24th minute. A hard shot 28 in the game by Bo Wallman from a close distance when the talented Dillon Yoder managed to make a qualified save. Stowe City's players were relieved. Andreas Alm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dillon Yoder having to make a save. In the 35th match minute, Stowe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyle Dill to maneuver through the defense. Stowe City's Dillon Yoder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Stowe City from getting a goal against them. Casper Göransson took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dillon Yoder. Dillon Yoder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bo Wallman to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Stowe City's zone, Andreas Alm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dillon Yoder came out of the goal and Andreas Alm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ronny Bond hit a great ball. The supporters of Stowe City booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Alm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Tord Wickander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Homer Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stowe City's supporters rose to their feet, but Homer Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Örnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Casper Göransson came free, but Dillon Yoder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Wallman in the 64th minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Dillon Yoder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Leon Hadley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Örnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Bo Wallman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vykans Vikingar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Wallman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Hadley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Wallman came free, but Dillon Yoder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dillon Yoder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Göransson in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Bo Wallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dillon Yoder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stowe City made a substitution. Jonathon Saunders replaced Dante Ham. Stowe City's D.J. Harman was substituted for Rubin Lim. Stowe City's Billy Hardy was substituted for DeAngelo Guevara. After 95 minutes, Casper Göransson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vykans Vikingar and the Stowe City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Casper Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Vykans Vikingar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stowe City's performance. The match ended with a win for Stowe City.
