Aristides Bras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Barling in the 15th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Arsenio Cristos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manly FC's Kirby Chant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Barling came free, but Aristides Bras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Stevie Gerrard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Aristides Bras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stevie Gerrard. Leandro Gaufred kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Stevie Gerrard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manly FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stevie Gerrard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Bras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manly FC. 44 minutes into the game, Apolo Berdoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 44 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Berdoi. 46 minutes into the game, Manly FC's Stevie Gerrard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Bras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kent Barling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Manly FC got a freekick which was hit by Stan Peplow. After 55 played minutes Teodosio Herauso shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Manly FC's Kirby Chant to catch but Teodosio Herauso was lucky. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Kirby Chant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Cristos in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Neale Franklin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neale Franklin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Caballeritos del Baile's Zeledon Quin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Cristos came free, but Kirby Chant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Segundo Orzaize hit a great ball. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Orzaize didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Kirby Chant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Gaufred. Zeledon Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Cristos came free, but Kirby Chant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Serapio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Chant having to interfere. Kirby Chant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
