Seggiano's Aldo Diana got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dave Berardini came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Seggiano fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice moves Curro Huarte could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Antonio Di Gennaro however easily saved by the left post. Neron Gibert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Lemme, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 28 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Diego Barbato. 29 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when Arbidel Nadal came free, but Antonio Di Gennaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curro Huarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Antonio Di Gennaro made a huge save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eraldo Giammaria to strike the kick off in the second half. Antonio Di Gennaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curro Huarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute García Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Di Gennaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Seggiano to win.
