In the 18th minute Ronaldão Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Broussard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrell Garrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos da Cunha came free, but Dylan Broussard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Júlio Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Broussard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dylan Broussard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldão Mazza's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Júlio Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Quintin Funk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto de Azevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Quintin Funk slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quintin Funk made a kick off. Javier Mayo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jacinto de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Knights FC. Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickey Landreth in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Quintin Funk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Black Knights FC got a freekick which was hit by Tyrell Garrison. In the 74th minute, Quintin Funk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Broussard having to interfere. Augusto das Neves's shot from long distance in the 81st minute was not bad at all, but Black Knights FC's Dylan Broussard knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Júlio Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mickey Landreth fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Knights FC's protests and gave Mickey Landreth a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Milanis E.C. booed when Black Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickey Landreth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Júlio Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milanis E.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
